Vanni Moretto has performed in the world's most important concert halls including Carnegie Hall in New York, Teatro della Scala in Milan, Suntori Hall in Tokyo, Opera de Paris, Colòn in Buenos Aires and Santa Cecilia in Rome.

Jommelli CD coverHis compositions have been published by Ricordi, Sonzogno and Berben. They have won recognition in numerous competitions in Italy and abroad. He specializes in works for children and has won first prize in both the 1994 and 1995 "Il bambino e il suo strumento"competition of Grugliasco as well as second prize in the 1995 "L'Infanzia di Sàrmede" and J.Brahms competitions. His works have been performed by L'Orchestra RAI di Milano, Orchestra della Fenice di Venezia, Orchestra Milano Classica, Orchestra Sinfonica dell'Emilia Romagna, Orchestra Musica Rara. Moretto has worked with I Pomeriggi Musicali, I Solisti Aquilani, Musica Rara and Cappella Teatina. He has conducted the orchestra Milano Classica. regularly for the last six years. His collaboration with Milano Classica has resulted in two recordings (In 2003, he recorded Jommelli's L'uccellatrice and Vivaldi's Four Seasons (violin Mauro Rossi) with Dynamic.

Brioschi CD cover Moretto has studied the problems of historical tuning and modal scales,extending his research to Hellenic, Medieval and Renaissance treatises. After examining the writings of Alfred Tomatis he worked, between 1993 and 1996, with the famed audiologist Dr.Laura Bertelè on a project that found the key to healing through music. Their research was presented at the Cultural Center "Testaccio" in Rome in 1995 and 1996.

In 1996 he founded the chamber group Atalanta Fugiens with whom he has recorded for Amadeus. Since 2006 Atalanta Fugiens is working on the project "Archivio della Sinfonia Milanese" with Sony BMG dedicated to symphonies composed in Milan since 1730.

Starting from 2007 he is the general editor of the series “Archivio della sinfonia Milanese” published by Casa Ricordi, Milan. In the same year, thanks to the grant allowed by the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Alessandria, he started the "Brioschi Project", whose aim is to revaluate the composer who gave a decisive contribution to the birth of the symphonic genre.
